As you start to plan how you’re going to travel to Wollongong campus this Autumn session - please take note of these important travel updates and use alternate options where you can.
Traffic Diversions
To reduce congestion as we return to campus for the start of Autumn session 2023, there will be traffic diversions in place around the University of Wollongong. The diversions will be in place for 6 weeks from Monday 27 February, from 7.45 am - 9.15 am in the morning.
If you are planning on travelling to campus by car, please consider carpooling to park for free, or arriving early. You can find more information about traffic diversions including a road map here.
Alternate options
We encourage you to please use alternate transport to Wollongong campus where possible over the next few weeks to reduce congestion and ensure you arrive in time for class. Did you know that UOW is easily accessible by bus, train, cycling or walking? You can also get cheaper travel with a Concession Opal card! Learn more about your options and plan your trip here.
Park using the CellOPark app
If you’re driving in to Wollongong campus over the next few weeks or plan to later in the session, please be reminded that you can now pay for parking using the CellOPark app. This is a quick and easy way to pay for parking without needing an actual ticket - and you’ll only pay for the time that you park on campus! Find further information about the app, how to download it and where you can use it on campus here.
