Student Services and Amenities Fees (SSAF)

About SSAF

Australian universities, including UOW, have a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) which is used to enhance the services and amenities for students across UOW. The fee is based on Commonwealth legislation introduced in October 2011. The introduction of the fee was approved by University Council on 2 December 2011 and introduced at UOW from Autumn session 2012.

The 2021 SSAF: Student Services and Amenities Student Survey is open from 3-28 September 2020. The survey is quick and easy to complete, we encourage students to take a few minutes to participate and let us know the areas where they would like to see SSAF spent. Access to the survey will be provided via SOLS to enrolled onshore students eligible to participate.
