School of Nursing Orientation
Students commencing in the Bachelor of Nursing (Enrolled Nurses - Dip Nursing Entry) or Master of Nursing (Pre-Registration) in January 2025 must attend their compulsory Orientation. This will help you settle into your new environment and set you up for success. Registration is required. An invitation will be sent to your personal email.

We know that each student’s path to starting University is a little different. With that in mind we are excited to bring you our 2025 Orientation Program – It’s Go Time!
This focuses 3 key themes; Get Started, Connect and Succeed and we’ve designed opportunities both online and in person.
Attending and making the most of It’s Go Time! will set you up for success at UOW. You'll find out everything you need to know about your course, faculty, classes and campus. You'll also meet staff and some of your classmates, so you'll know some familiar faces in week one of session.

- If you’re commencing a degree with the Sydney Business School, your 2025 Trimester Orientation details can be found here.
- Students undertaking the Bachelor of Nursing (Enrolled Nurses - Dip Nursing Entry), or the Master of Nursing (Pre-Registration) will study in non-standard sessions across their degree. Please refer to the School of Nursing Session Dates page for more information.

Get Started at UOW
This in-person event will connect you with other new students through fun activities, plus mini-workshops on key skills that will help you succeed at UOW.
You can also access one-on-one support from enrolment help to relevant services and programs to ensure you’re set up and ready to commence your study.

Faculty Orientation Day
The Wollongong campus will hold their Faculty Orientation Days for commencing students on:
- Monday, 24 February, 2025 for the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities
- Tuesday, 25 February, 2025 for:
- The Faculty of Business and Law
- Study Abroad and Exchange students
- Wednesday, 26 February, 2025 for the Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health
- Thursday, 27 February, 2025 for the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences
The Bega Valley campus will hold their Orientation Day for commencing students on Wednesday, 26 February, 2025.
The Eurobodalla campus will hold their Orientation Day for commencing students on:
- Monday, 10 February, 2025, or
- Wednesday, 12 February, 2025, or
- Thursday, 13 February, 2025
Please note: Commencing students will only need to attend one of the three days.
The Liverpool campus will hold their Orientation Day for commencing students on:
- Wednesday, 26 February, 2025 for Nursing courses
- Thursday, 27 February, 2025 for all other courses
The Shoalhaven campus will hold their Orientation Day for commencing students on Wednesday, 19 February, 2025.
The Southern Highlands campus will hold their Orientation Day for commencing students on Friday, 28 February, 2025.
The Sutherland campus will hold their Orientation Day for commencing students on Tuesday, 25 February, 2025.
Your Online Orientation for Autumn 2025 will be held on Thursday, 27 February, 2025.
