Get Started at UOW!
Orientation at UOW isn’t a single event, it’s a full program that spans your whole first session. We’ve designed a series of support, connection, and learning opportunities to help you settle in and succeed.
By getting involved, you’ll learn everything you need to know about your course, faculty, classes and campus, and meet staff and fellow students before Week 1 begins. Whether you need enrolment advice, help navigating UOW systems, tips for accessing services, or you’re looking to make friends and get involved, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
UOW School of Business Summer 2026 Orientation
Starting a Business degree at UOW this Summer 2026/2027 Session?
Your tailored Orientation program combines essential online resources with an on-campus experience to help you get enrolled, meet your Faculty, connect with other students, and build the academic skills you need to start strong.
You'll also receive practical guidance on UOW systems and support services, helping you feel confident, connected and ready to commence your studies.
International students will take part in a dedicated session designed to support their transition to life in Australia and UOW.
Orientation will be held on Thursday, 26 November, 2026. More details coming soon.
Registration is required, and your invitation will be sent to your personal email.
Master of Nursing (Pre-Registration)
Students commencing in the Master of Nursing (Pre-Registration) in January 2027 must attend their compulsory orientation. Your orientation will provide enrolment support and introduce you to key resources and opportunities, as well as important discipline-specific information about your degree. Throughout the day, you'll meet academic and professional staff from UOW and learn about course requirements, placements, available support services, and what to expect during your studies.
Date: Monday, 11 January, 2027
Time: 9 am – 3.30 pm
Location: In person, UOW Wollongong campus
You must register for and attend your Master of Nursing (Pre-Registration) Orientation session at your enrolled campus to commence your course.
An invitation with registration instructions will be sent to your personal email from mid-December.

Bachelor of Nursing (Enrolled Nurses – Dip Nursing Entry) January Orientation
This orientation is for students commencing the Bachelor of Nursing (Enrolled Nurses – Dip Nursing Entry) in the green stream at one of the following campuses:
- UOW Bega Valley
- UOW Eurobodalla
- UOW Shoalhaven
- UOW Sutherland
The orientation will be held online on Monday, 18 January, 2027.

Registration is required. An invitation with registration instructions will be sent to your personal email from mid-December.
Please note
Students commencing this course in the yellow stream at UOW Wollongong or UOW Liverpool will attend a separate session as part of UOW Autumn Orientation.
