Only sit if you're up to it
If you’re feeling unwell for your exam, we encourage you to make a call early on whether you’re up to it. Just because your exam may be at home, doesn’t mean you need to push through.
- ONLINE EXAMS: If you cannot sit or complete your exam due to illness or another extenuating circumstance, ensure that you apply for Academic Consideration before your online exam starts or prior to completing it. If you fall ill during the exam, you MUST complete an issue form before leaving the online exam. In this case, you can apply for Academic Consideration after your online exam.
- ON-CAMPUS EXAMS: If you cannot sit your exam due to illness or another extenuating circumstance, ensure that you apply for Academic Consideration before your exam. If you fall ill during your exam you can apply for Academic Consideration afterwards, however you MUST advise the exam supervisor before leaving the exam venue or your application may be denied.
If you’re unable to take your exam, make sure you’re available for the supplementary and deferred exam period from 17 - 21 July.
