International student fees

International student fees

International student fees are calculated per credit point for the course of study.

Information on your course fees can be found using course finder. You can also see a list of tuition fees in the 2027 International Commencing Student Tuition Fee Schedule.

Tuition fees are reviewed annually and the cost per credit point of your course may change at the beginning of each year and may be different to the indicative cost from your Offer of Admission. It is your responsibility to stay informed about any changes to fees.

If you transfer your course of study, you will need to pay the current rates for the course you are transferring into.

This page refers to information regarding fees at the University of Wollongong only. The University of Wollongong College is a separate entity, for UOW College please see Fees information for UOW College.

  • All students must pay no later than the census date (last date to pay for the session).
  • To pay on time, check your session's census date which is listed on your Fee Statement on SOLS.
  • Your Services and Amenities Fee (SAF) is also due on the census date.

As a new International student, you will need to pay your Tuition Fee Deposit to receive your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).

Your Tuition Fee Deposit amount is shown on your Offer of Admission. Payment instructions will be provided in StudyLink. Please ensure you are using the Flywire details located in StudyLink when making a Tuition Fee Deposit payment.

It is important to note that your Tuition Fee Deposit may not cover your full commencing session fee at UOW, and you may be required to make tuition fee payments once you enrol.

If you have questions about the offer letter or making your first payment, contact our Future Students team.

International students must pay their fees up front and in full by Census date. For more information on how to make payment please review our Payment options webpage.

Late or non-payment of tuition fees will result in  your enrolment being cancelled at the University of Wollongong.

For more information please see:

If you plan on making changes to your citizenship or visa, which may affect your fees, you must provide evidence of the change to AskUOW by the census date of the relevant session. Changes to citizenship or visa made after the census date will not take effect until the next study session.

If you are eligible for an instalment plan, you must apply via SOLS - Student Forms before the census date of the relevant session.

For further information and application details please see our Tuition fee instalment plans webpage.

All international students must pay Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their student visa.

  • OSHC provides for medical and hospital cover for students and their dependants.
  • The University's preferred OSHC provider is Bupa.
  • Your offer letter will provide more detail on OSHC costs.
  • Your fee statement shows a breakdown of all charges and the associated due date, this statement is updated daily.
  • To check your fees online, log onto SOLS and select 'fee statement'.
  • For further assistance, please contact AskUOW.
