Sean Hughes, one of ASIC’s five permanent Commissioners recently visited the law school. He spoke at length to final year and banking law students about employment at ASIC. He did so with candour about ASIC’s past, and its rejuvenation. His visit was greatly appreciated, as it involved Mr Hughes flying from Melbourne to address our students.
We look forward to this being the start of a fruitful relationship between UOW’s law school, and this vital Australian regulator.
