Purpose
The Council Philanthropy Committee is a limited-term committee established to support the University of Wollongong’s strategic initiatives in philanthropy and advancement, with a particular focus on leveraging the University’s 50th-anniversary celebrations. The Committee will provide advice, oversight, and advocacy to enhance philanthropic engagement, campaigns, and outcomes during this milestone year. The Council Philanthropy Committee will continue its oversight until it determines that it is appropriate for oversight to be incorporated back into regular reporting to Council.
