UOW UOW College provides pathways to STEM degrees at UOW. By completing a Diploma of Engineering, Diploma of Science, or Foundation Studies course listed below, there is an opportunity to gain entry into the first or second year of various STEM bachelor’s degrees at the University of Wollongong.

 Alternatively, UOW College also offers the University Preparation Program to help you enter your first year of study at UOW.

Earn a recognised qualification:

  • Accredited: Your UOW Engineering degree is accredited by Engineers Australia. Under the Washington Accord you have a passport to work as an engineer in many other countries including US, UK, Canada, Japan, South East and Southern Asia.
  • All UOW Physics degrees are fully accredited by the Australian Institute of Physics.
  • The Bachelor of Science degree conforms to the requirements for membership of the Australian Institute of Physics.
  • All UOW Bachelor of Mathematics degrees are accredited by the Australian Mathematical Society.
  • Our Bachelor of Secondary Education (Mathematics) course is accredited and recognised as a national professional teaching qualification. Students seeking work outside NSW or Australia are advised to check with potential employers and other teacher registration authorities for any additional requirements.
  • The Bachelor of Medicinal Chemistry meets the qualifying standards of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute. Students who meet the course requirements will be eligible for corporate membership as Chartered Chemists.
  • Completion of the Bachelor of Science with a major in Chemistry qualifies graduates for membership of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute.
