Overview

Employers need graduates who can operate confidently in global business environments and interpret complex data to inform strategic decisions. Studying a Master of Business Analytics with a Master of International Business responds to this demand by developing analytical capability alongside an understanding of how international markets function. You gain the skills to analyse complex information, navigate diverse cultural and regulatory settings, and support evidence‑based decision‑making across borders. 
 
You will build practical experience working with data in international business contexts. This includes managing information, designing dashboards, and applying analytics to identify patterns, forecast outcomes and support strategic planning. Hands‑on use of widely adopted analytics tools will strengthen your ability to convert complex data into insights that guide decision‑making in global markets. 
 
Graduates will learn how businesses operate across different countries and cultures and how strategy, finance and regulations shape decision‑making worldwide. This skill set enables you to evaluate cross‑border opportunities, anticipate global trends, and deliver sustainable recommendations.  
 
By completing this double master’s program, students will earn two master’s degrees in two years and build expertise in two in‑demand areas of business.

The Master of Business Analytics equips you with advanced technical and analytical capability. You gain experience preparing and managing data, building dashboards, presenting insights, and applying analytics techniques such as forecasting, optimisation and machine learning. The program builds practical skills using tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, SAS Viya and advanced Excel, ensuring you can deliver data‑driven recommendations in real business settings. 
 
The Master of International Business develops the strategic mindset needed to operate in global markets. You examine international business environments, global regulatory systems, and cultural differences, and you build the ability to evaluate international opportunities and provide sustainable recommendations.  
 
Studying both master's develops your capability to apply analytical insight within complex international business settings. You will learn to interpret data across markets, assess risks and opportunities, and support informed decisions that span borders. You will build confidence working with international stakeholders, ensuring insights translate into practical action. This skill set will prepare you to contribute effectively to organisational performance in environments where global awareness, data literacy, and strategic judgement must work together.

  • Academic Entry Requirements

    A recognised bachelor’s degree in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. 
    OR
    A Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. 
    OR 
    A recognised master's degree in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. 

    Other tertiary qualifications, combined with extensive professional work experience, may also be considered.

  • Workload

    Full-Time Study Load

    As a full-time student, you can expect to commit around 48 hours of study per week. This includes class time and independent study. You may need to factor more time for examination study, practical work and placements.
