Overview

Marketing practice is being reshaped by digital transformation, data and artificial intelligence, altering how organisations engage customers and compete. The combined Master of Business and Master of Marketing responds to this changing environment by integrating broad business knowledge with specialised marketing capability 
 
Through applied coursework and practice based learning, students develop an understanding of organisational contexts while building creative, analytical and technical skills relevant to contemporary marketing practice. The program supports the development of capability in data informed decision making, customer insight, and technology enabled marketing activity, preparing graduates for digital first roles across a range of industries. 
 
The combined degree connects strategic business thinking with contemporary marketing execution. Graduates develop the capacity to plan, implement and evaluate marketing initiatives that align with organisational objectives and support business performance in dynamic and competitive environments. 
 
By completing this double master’s program, students will earn two master’s degrees in two years and build expertise in two in-demand areas of business.

The Master of Business builds the fundamental skills you need to succeed in a broad commercial environment. Its flexible structure allows you to choose subjects that match your professional goals and strengthen your understanding of key business functions. 
 
The Master of Marketing provides advanced expertise in digital, data‑driven and technology‑enabled marketing. You will explore how AI, big data, digital media and shifting consumer expectations are transforming modern marketing practices. Through hands‑on projects and interactive learning, you build capability in consumer analytics, digital strategy, brand communication and creative problem solving. Subjects such as AI‑Driven Digital Marketing and Big Data and Marketing Analytics give you practical experience using data and technology to create campaigns that deliver measurable impact. 
 
Studying these master's together strengthens your ability to apply marketing expertise within real business contexts. You will build confidence working with data, organisational priorities, and changing market conditions, ensuring marketing activity is both commercially informed and practically deliverable. This integrated learning experience supports effective collaboration across teams and prepares you to contribute to environments where insight, execution, and adaptability are essential.

  • Academic Entry Requirements

    A recognised bachelor’s degree in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. 
    OR
    A Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. 
    OR 
    A recognised master's degree in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. 

    Other tertiary qualifications, combined with extensive professional work experience, may also be considered.

  • Workload

    Full-Time Study Load

    As a full-time student, you can expect to commit around 48 hours of study per week. This includes class time and independent study. You may need to factor more time for examination study, practical work and placements.

    If you have completed prior studies or relevant professional experience, you can request course credit or subject exemptions to reduce the duration and cost of your program.
