The School of Psychology at UOW is a vibrant community focused on understanding human behaviour and improving lives through high-quality teaching and impactful research. Located on the Wollongong campus, we offer interdisciplinary opportunities and host clinical and research activities across purpose-built facilities including the Northfields Psychology Clinic and Early Start.

Our research

Research at the School of Psychology explores the complexities of human behaviour, cognition, and mental health through innovative, evidence-based approaches. Our researchers investigate areas such as wellbeing, brain function, development, and clinical practice, generating insights that support healthier communities.

Project Air

The Project Air Strategy for personality disorders is an internationally recognised leader in research, education and treatment of personality disorders. We aim to support compassionate, evidence-based treatment and recovery for people with personality disorder and related conditions.

Psychology Test Library

The Test Library is an essential resource for the staff and students of the School of Psychology. The Test Library contains psychological tests, books and DVDs. The borrowing of psychological tests is restricted to the School of Psychology’s staff and postgraduate students.
