Overview

Modern supply chains rely on data to remain efficient, resilient and competitive. Employers are looking for graduates who can turn complex information into clear operational decisions. Studying a Master of Business Analytics with a Master of Supply Chain Management prepares you to meet this need by developing strong analytical capability alongside an understanding of how supply chains function from end to end. You build the skills to analyse operational data, forecast demand, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements that strengthen supply performance. 
 
Studying these degrees together supports the analysis of complex business and supply chain environments, including demand patterns, operational constraints, data flows and organisational context, and applies this understanding to evidence based decision making. Students examine how organisations design, manage and optimise supply chains and how analytics can be used to translate data into actionable operational and strategic insights.

The Master of Business Analytics equips you with advanced technical and analytical capability. You gain experience preparing and managing data, building dashboards, presenting insights and applying analytics techniques such as forecasting, optimisation and machine learning. The program builds practical skills using tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, SAS Viya and advanced Excel, ensuring you can deliver data‑driven recommendations in real business settings. 
 
The Master of Supply Chain Management is designed for professionals who want to build or expand their capability in supply chain operations, procurement and logistics. The program develops the skills needed to manage the flow of goods, information and resources across modern organisations, preparing you to contribute to efficient, resilient and competitive supply chain performance. 
 
Graduates complete the program with the capability to work across disciplines and organisational levels. The combined study of business analytics and supply chain management strengthens the ability to collaborate with analysts, operations managers and senior leaders, ensuring that insights are communicated clearly and translated into action. This integrated approach prepares graduates to contribute to supply chain strategy, manage disruption, and support organisational responses to changing demand, risk and global operating conditions.

  • Academic Entry Requirements

    A recognised bachelor’s degree in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. 
    OR
    A Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. 
    OR 
    A recognised master's degree in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. 

    Other tertiary qualifications, combined with extensive professional work experience, may also be considered.

  • Workload

    Full-Time Study Load

    As a full-time student, you can expect to commit around 48 hours of study per week. This includes class time and independent study. You may need to factor more time for examination study, practical work and placements.
