Overview

As digital technologies and customer expectations continue to evolve, marketing increasingly relies on data informed decision making. The combined Master of Business Analytics and Master of Marketing develops the capability to understand customers through data, support confident decision making, and evaluate marketing impact.

Studying these master's together will build your capability to use data to solve real marketing and customer challenges. You will learn how to manage and analyse data, create clear dashboards and apply analytics to understand past performance, anticipate future trends and determine the most effective actions. These skills support informed, targeted, and strategic marketing decision‑making.

Hands‑on experience with industry‑standard analytics tools will teach you to translate complex information into practical insights that guide marketing strategy across diverse markets. Alongside this analytical capability, the Master of Marketing strengthens your expertise in digital media strategy, consumer insights, brand management, marketing communications and AI‑enabled marketing practice. You will explore how digital platforms and emerging technologies shape modern marketing, equipping you to respond confidently and creatively in a fast‑moving, competitive industry.

By completing this double master’s program, students will earn two master’s degrees in two years and build expertise in two in-demand areas of business.

See the course handbook for more information.

This combined study path builds the analytical strength and marketing expertise needed to design effective strategies in a digital‑first, data‑driven marketing environment. Through the Master of Business Analytics, you will develop advanced capability in managing data, building dashboards, identifying patterns, and applying forecasting, optimisation and machine learning techniques. Practical learning with widely used analytics tools gives you the confidence to turn complex information into insights that support decision‑making across all areas of marketing, customer experience and commercial strategy.

The Master of Marketing deepens your understanding of how digital platforms, consumer behaviour and emerging technologies shape modern marketing practice. You explore AI‑driven digital marketing, big data in marketing analytics, digital media strategy, brand communication, and consumer insights. Through interactive learning and real‑world projects, you build the ability to combine creativity with analytical thinking to design campaigns and strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Graduates will be equipped to work across teams, communicate findings clearly, and balance creative ideas with data‑based reasoning. Together, these skills will prepare you to contribute effectively to marketing environments where speed, accountability, and informed decision‑making are essential.
