Overview

The growth of international and cross border business activity has increased demand for professionals able to operate across varied cultural, regulatory and competitive environments. The combined Master of Business and Master of International Business integrates core business knowledge with specialised international business capability to support effective engagement in global markets. 
 
Organisations operating in international and globally connected environments value professionals who can manage complexity and apply sound commercial judgement. Studying these degrees together develops broad business understanding alongside applied knowledge of international business contexts. Graduates build the capability to interpret global trends, engage with cultural differences, and support informed decision making in organisations operating across national boundaries. 
 
Graduates are prepared to contribute to strategy, support international activity, and enhance organisational performance in multinational and internationally engaged businesses. 
 
By completing this double master’s program, students will earn two master’s degrees in two years and build expertise in two in-demand areas of business.

The Master of Business builds the fundamental skills you need to succeed in a broad commercial environment. Its flexible structure allows you to choose subjects that match your professional goals and strengthen your understanding of key business functions. 
 
The Master of International Business enables you to develop the knowledge and skills required to operate effectively in international business contexts. International business practice requires professionals who can work across diverse cultural, regulatory and competitive environments. Studied alongside the Master of Business, this degree provides a strong foundation in core business principles while supporting a deeper understanding of international strategy and cross‑border organisational activity. 
 
Combining these master's strengthens your ability to apply business knowledge in international contexts where conditions vary across markets, sectors and regions. You will gain experience analysing international opportunities, responding to regulatory and competitive change and supporting decision‑making that accounts for cultural, economic and operational differences. 
 
You will graduate prepared to add value to organisations that operate globally and need people who can think clearly, work flexibly and understand international business environments.

  • Academic Entry Requirements

    A recognised bachelor’s degree in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. 
    OR
    A Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. 
    OR 
    A recognised master's degree in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. 

    Other tertiary qualifications, combined with extensive professional work experience, may also be considered.

  • Workload

    Full-Time Study Load

    As a full-time student, you can expect to commit around 48 hours of study per week. This includes class time and independent study. You may need to factor more time for examination study, practical work and placements.

    If you have completed prior studies or relevant professional experience, you can request course credit or subject exemptions to reduce the duration and cost of your program.

    Credit for prior learning evaluates your previous study or work experience related to your chosen subjects.
