UOW Counselling is staffed by professional counsellors, offering short-term confidential support to students. Counselling appointments are available via phone, online and face-to-face at some campuses.

24-hour student wellbeing support line

Available all year round by phone on 1300 036 149 or SMS 0488 884 164. You will receive immediate confidential support to talk through your concerns, or to help you support someone who is struggling.

Sexual assault and sexual harassment support

Contact the SARC team for support, advice and to find out about your reporting options. You can decide what you choose to do next and the type of support that you need.

Support for students outside Australia

Students who are enrolled at our offshore campuses and students that are outside Australia on travel relating to their studies have access to the 24/7 Student Assistance Program through TELUS Health. TELUS Health provide confidential expert advice, recommendations and referrals, as well as convenient access to online resources and tools.
