New car share at UOW
GoGet have launched share cars at the Wollongong Campus, available to students, staff and members of the public. In early 2026, additional cars will be coming to the Innovation Campus.
It's easy to join and use one of the cars available at either campus, or across any of GoGet's other locations. There are other vehicles located in the Wollongong area including vans.
Before you hire a car, you have to become a GoGet member. Cars can only be driven by the registered driver on the booking. Please note GoGet's terms and conditions for use.

GoGet cars will be parked in particular locations at the Wollongong and Innovation campuses.

Membership options for UOW students and staff
UOW students
- UOW students can access a free 12 month membership and special hourly or daily hire rates through the GoGet website.
- Once you’ve completed the membership form, GoGet will post you a smart membership card. Alternatively, for students living on campus, you can pick up a smart membership card from your student residence.
- Sign up on the GoGet website
UOW staff personal use
- UOW staff can access any GoGet vehicles at great low rates by the hour or the day, no monthly or yearly membership fees, no sign-up fees, and the ability to add two additional drivers to your account for free.
- Access the special rates through the GoGet website. Use your UOW email address to apply. Once you’ve completed the membership form, GoGet will post you a smart membership card.
