We have moved

UOW Liverpool has now relocated to its new campus at 50 Scott Street in the Liverpool Civic Place precinct.

UOW Liverpool has recently relocated to Liverpool Civic Place. Our modern, friendly campus boasts comprehensive facilities, a personalised learning experience and specialty support services.

Further campus expansion in 2028

Further expansion is planned as construction begins on the next stage of UOW’s Liverpool campus. This next phase in Liverpool Civic Place is expected to be completed by mid-2028 and will further secure UOW’s future in the Liverpool CBD.  The new facility will provide eleven storeys of university space, alongside flexible life sciences facilities, co-living apartments, retail and landscaped public areas.

Getting to campus

UOW Liverpool has recently opened its new campus within the Civic Place precinct at 50 Scott Street, Liverpool. Civic Place is well serviced by public transport, close to Liverpool Stations and bus interchange, Westfield Liverpool, Liverpool Hospital, as well as cafes, specialty stores, and food outlets.

Train

UOW Liverpool is only a five-minute walk from Liverpool train station. The city of Liverpool has six train lines passing through the area
and boasts one of Sydney’s first rapid bus transit-way systems, making it easy for students to travel to and from campus. View information on Opal cards.

Train travel times to UOW Liverpool (approximate):

  • Bankstown: 27 mins
  • Campbelltown: 23 mins
  • Central Station: 30 mins
  • Wolli Creek: 38 mins
  • Parramatta: 38 mins

Liverpool is serviced by:

  • T2 Inner West & Leppington Line - train services running between Leppington and the City, via Liverpool and Granville.
  • T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line - train services running between Liverpool and the City, via Regents Park and Lidcombe.
  • T5 Cumberland Line - train services running between Leppington to Richmond, Liverpool and Parramatta. Liverpool passengers can access the T1 North Shore & Western Line (change at Lidcombe or Parramatta Stations) and T8 Airport and South Line (change at Glenfield).

Bus

There are numerous bus services stopping at the Liverpool Station bus interchange. Services connect Liverpool to many nearby suburbs including Parramatta, Carnes Hill, Warwick Farm, Ingleburn, Leppington, Holsworthy and Narellan. Free community shuttle bus service

Liverpool City Council operates a free community shuttle bus between Liverpool City, the Whitlam Centre and Collimore Park, en-route to UOW Liverpool. The free bus service operates morning and afternoon, Monday to Friday. View the timetable and route.

  • Wollongong: 65 mins
  • Bankstown: 25 mins

Parking

Liverpool has almost 5,000 car parking spaces available in or near the city centre.

Discounted student parking

Students receive all-day free parking at the Whitlam Centre and Collimore Park. Students can access four hours free parking, or discounted all-day parking at Westfield Liverpool, a five-minute walk from UOW Liverpool. Visit the Westfield concierge desk with your student ID card to register.

Bike racks are available in the Civic Place forecourt (Scott Street) and also up the ramp on Terminus Street, adjacent to the entrance. Use a D or U lock to secure your bike. There are also bike lockers and racks available at Liverpool Station. An Opal card is required to access the facilities at the station.

Free motorcycle parking is available at Liverpool train station. Access the car park via Bigge Street.

A free Airport Pickup service is available for all newly enrolled UOW International Students and UOW College students who have an offer for a course at the UOW Liverpool campus, and who will live in the South Western and Western areas of Sydney. Eligible students will be collected from Sydney Airport International or Domestic terminal and transported directly to their accommodation destination in the South Western and Western areas of Sydney.

Accommodation

The Liverpool campus is conveniently located five minutes’ walk from Liverpool railway station, allowing students to quickly travel to surrounding areas such as Parramatta, Hurstville and Bankstown. There is a range of affordable rental options for students in close proximity to the campus.
