Competition Details

October 14th-18th is Academic Integrity Week at UOW and to raise awareness we’re holding a student treasure hunt.  Join the virtual hunt for your chance to win a $150 Pre-paid Visa card

How it works

  • Download an Academic Integrity Treasure Hunt Answer Sheet
  • Each day during Academic Integrity week (October 14-18), the Peer Academic Coaches (PACs) based in the Learning Co-Op space on your campus or online via LIVE CHAT or video conferencing will be giving out the clues you will need to complete the answer sheet.
  • Each day will have a different clue. Each clue will contain two questions and also hints on where on the UOW website you can find the answers.
  • To collect the day’s clue, come into the Learning Co-op Space in the library in person during 12:30-2:30 or talk to a PAC online 10am – 4pm, Monday to Friday:

How to enter

  • Complete your Answer Sheet using all the clues you collect over the course of the week
  • Read the Terms and Conditions and submit a completed entry form along with your completed Answer Sheet. Your Answer Sheet can be uploaded to the entry form
  • Only one entry per person
  • Entries with correct answers to all the questions will be entered into the draw to win a $150 prepaid Visa card.

 

Closing date for the competition is 11.59pm AEST on Wednesday 23 October 2019

Winners will be announced on 6 November 2019

Student Poster Design Competition 

Competition Details

October 14th-18th is Academic Integrity Week at UOW and we want you to use your creative skills to design a poster, raising student awareness of Academic Integrity at UOW.

Whilst we want you to be creative in your design, there are a few things your poster should include:

1st Prize Prepaid Visa card valued at $AU200

2nd Prize Coles Myer voucher/gift card valued at $AU100

3rd Prize Coles Myer voucher/gift card valued at $AU50

  • Competition is open to all students enrolled at UOW Australian campuses
  • You can enter the Competition either individually or in a group. (Note: in the event that a winning poster is submitted by a group, the prize shall be evenly distributed amongst the group).
  • Poster designs must be submitted in electronic format (PDF, Doc, TIFF, JPEG)
  • Must be your own work.
  • Only one entry per person or group.

How to enter

Read the Terms and Conditions and submit a completed entry form along with your electronic poster.  Your electronic poster can be uploaded to the entry form.

Closing date for the competition is 11.59pm AEST on Friday 11th October

Entries will be judged by the UOW Academic Integrity Advisory Group and winners will be announced on Thursday 17th October.

Winners will have the opportunity to present their poster at a Staff Academic Integrity Forum and winning posters will be used throughout the University to promote awareness of academic integrity.
