The Criminology and Social Policy Discipline at UOW takes as its core question 'what are our tools for mobilising change to achieve greater social justice?' We explore social services, policy and legislation, social movements, identity and the arts as change strategies harnessed by individuals and communities. We are a group of qualitative and comparative researchers who seek to understand what makes a real difference in people’s lives.
