Funding opportunities

Secure your share today

The Federal and State Governments offer several funding programs to support collaborative research between the University and industry. UOW has a proven track record of efficiently securing government grants with industry partners. The Innovation and Commercial Research Unit can provide expert advice on funding options, applications processes and expected timelines. The table below outlines some of the funding sources that we have found to be most effective for collaborative research.

This means that if the project value is $30,000, NSW Treasury will contribute $15,000 of the project cost and the industry partner will also contribute $15,000 for their project (plus GST). Industry partners are generally invoiced 50% upfront and 50% on final completion.
