Our facilities

The Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health provides access to modern laboratories, clinics and research facilities that support practical learning and applied research. Students and staff work across specialised spaces including the Molecular Horizons research centre, anatomy and physiology teaching laboratories, cutting-edge clinical simulation labs and a range of environmental and medical science labs. These facilities are designed to foster collaboration, innovation and discovery, supporting world-class teaching, research and community impact.

Clinical Simulation Labs

Our Clinical Simulation Labs provide nursing and allied health students with a state-of-the-art training environment, featuring advanced technology like virtual reality, SimCapture® recording, and Mask-Ed® tools to create immersive, realistic healthcare scenarios. These hospital-grade suites and collaborative spaces allow students to safely practice complex clinical skills while fostering critical thinking and multidisciplinary teamwork. By integrating self-directed learning with real-time feedback, the labs produce job-ready graduates prepared to meet the evolving healthcare demands of both regional and rural communities.
