At the UOW Shoalhaven campus, we are proud to be part of a vibrant community. As one of UOW’s regional campuses, we actively engage with local schools, organisations, and community groups to drive positive change and enhance the lives of people across our region.
Noah’s Shoalhaven is a not-for-profit, children’s charity established in 1981. Noah’s provides high-quality, caring and culturally sensitive early education and therapy services for young children with additional needs, their families and carers.
UOW's Graduate School of Medicine produces medical practitioners for all geographic settings, particularly for regional, rural and remote communities. The Simulated Patient Program at UOW Shoalhaven is often seeking volunteer patients.
This state-of-the-art observatory and telescope opened to the public in September 2023 and provides an excellent opportunity for the community to experience the wonders of the universe without leaving their local region.
The UOW Outreach and Future Students team work with primary and high school students, parents and carers, and career advisers and teachers, with the aim of enabling aspirations and awareness towards higher education, and providing students with the knowledge and skills to get there.
UOW's Woolyungah Indigenous Centre delivers the My Future Matters program to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in years 7 to 12. The program aims to shape students' awareness and aspirations of higher education and post-school options.
