Workshops overview

How are these workshops running?

You can choose from two branches: 

  • ULead: Professional Development
  • Self-Development Series: Personal Development 

These workshops will be held in person only at the UOW main campus.


What is involved?

Self-Development Series

The Self-Development Series is a personal development workshop designed and led by psychologist Nigel Woods. This workshop is designed specifically for UOW students and will help you have a deeper understanding about your self, your key drivers and how best you can succeed. 

This workshop series consists of 3 x 1.5 hour workshops over a three week period.

ULead

ULead is a professional development workshop, led by industry leaders and designed with the student in mind. This workshop will not only prepare you for the workforce but will teach you all the essential skills you will need to build your personal brand and master LinkedIn and networking. This is a one day workshop.

Through completing these workshops, you will develop key skills to support your goals and develop your wellbeing, personal growth and professional experience.

Minimum requirements for UOWx recognition

To receive UOWx Recognition, you must complete the following:

  • An "engaged" student must attend at least 2 wellness workshops in a calendar year
  • A "highly engaged" student must attend 3 or more wellness workshops in a calendar year
