Only sit your exam if you’re well enough
If you are feeling unwell for your exam, we encourage you to make an early decision on whether you are well enough to attend.
If you can’t sit or complete your exam due to illness or another extenuating circumstance, ensure that you apply for Academic Consideration before your online exam starts. If you fall ill during your exam, you can apply for Academic Consideration after your exam begins, but you must submit the application on the day your exam was scheduled.
If you are sitting an on-campus exam, you MUST advise the exam supervisor before leaving the exam venue.
If you are approved for Academic Consideration, make sure you are available for the supplementary and deferred exam period from 19 – 22 May 2026.
