Student Amenities Fees

About SSAF

Australian universities, including UOW, have a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) which is used to enhance the services and amenities for students across UOW. The fee is based on Commonwealth legislation introduced in October 2011. The introduction of the fee was approved by University Council on 2 December 2011 and introduced at UOW from Autumn session 2012.

The 2020 SSAF: Student Services and Amenities Student Survey  will be open for student feedback in April 2020.  The survey is quick and easy to complete, we encourage students to take a few minutes to participate and let us know the areas where they would like to see SSAF spent.  In addition the survey provides an opportunity for students to lodge a submission requesting SSAF funding for a project idea.  Access to the survey will be provided via SOLS to enrolled student (on-shore).  For any questions about SSAF, lodging a submission, or the survey, please email the Manager - SSAF and Student Projects
