Research performance reporting and analytics at UOW

Research performance reporting is managed by the Research Analytics, Systems and Support (RASS) team, within the Research Services Office.

UOW’s research performance reports rely on data collected from various internal systems including:

  • Research Information Systems (Publications and Grants)
  • Research Student Systems (SAI & SMP)
  • Finance (JDE)
  • Human Resources (Alesco)
  • Research Impact Tracker (research impact planning, capturing, and reporting software)
  • Human Ethics (IRMA)

Internal reporting

UOW’s research performance is reported at the University, Faculty, School, Research Institute/Centre and individual academic level.

This information is used to help determine faculty research performance funding allocations and inform School and Research Institute/Centre reviews, individual staff development discussions and academic promotion applications. Contact research-data@uow.edu.au to discuss your internal reporting requirements in more detail.
