MND Research Open Day and Book Launch

Join us for an inspiring afternoon as we tour the Yerbury Lab and explore the latest advances in MND research. We will also be celebrating the launch of a memoir by Peter McGovern, a highly respected educator and former principal of Edmund Rice College. Peter will share his story and his journey since being diagnosed with MND in 2024. All profits from Peter’s book sales will be donated to MND research at the Yerbury Lab.

Date: 6 February 2026
Time: Labs tours from 1pm. Presentations and book launch will begin at 2.30pm
Venue: Sciences Teaching Facility, Building 43.G01, UOW Wollongong Campus
Parking: Paid parking is available across campus using the CellOPArk app. For locations, please refer to the parking map (PDF). Where possible, we recommend taking public transport.
