Entry requirements

Entry requirements

In order to gain entry into a Bachelor degree applicants must satisfy the academic entry requirements for their chosen course.  At UOW, we recognise numerous pathways that satisfy these requirements.  Information on the pathways available can be found on the Entry Pathways page.

For more information on interstate or overseas equivalents, please contact UOW on 1300 367 869.

Additional application criteria

Entry to some UOW undergraduate courses requires a little extra work.  The following courses have additional requirements that must be met in the application process.

Bachelor of Performance

Want to see your name up in lights?  Sing, act play your way to the stage.  Entry to the Bachelor of Performance is based on your ATAR or equivalent results, as well as your efforts in an audition - so you'll get the chance to dazzle us.  For more information on auditioning please visit the Performance Audition Information page.

English Language requirements

If you are a domestic student and English is not your first language, you are required to provide evidence of satisfying the University's English language requirements as listed on the International Students site. For detailed information on these requirements please visit the International Students site.

If you have completed an academic qualification conducted entirely in English within the last two years, in a country where English is the official language, you may meet the University’s English language requirements. For further information about these requirements can be found online.
