The School of Business invites expressions of interest from qualified and passionate individuals to join our casual academic pool. Opportunities may arise throughout the year to support subject offerings across our undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Eligibility criteria

We are currently seeking tutors with expertise in the following areas:

Accounting
Corporate Governance
Finance
Economics
Marketing, Public Relations
Management, Human Resource Management, Project Management
International Business
Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management/Logistics

Tutors may be engaged to support undergraduate and/or postgraduate subjects through tutorial delivery and/or assessment marking. Tutoring may be delivered in one or more of the following formats:

Face-to-face (Wollongong, Sydney, Sutherland, and Liverpool campuses)
Online (via UOW’s digital platforms)
Blended (a combination of in-person and online delivery)

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

Relevant academic qualifications (minimum: Honours or postgraduate coursework in a related field)
Current PhD candidates in a relevant discipline are strongly encouraged to apply
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Valid work rights in Australia
Prior teaching or tutoring experience (preferred but not essential)
