Research

The School of the Arts, English and Media (TAEM) is one of the few multi-disciplinary schools in the country that encompasses both pure and applied research across the visual, performing and media arts, creative writing, English and journalism, as well as their interdisciplinary variants. Our mission is to inspire creative thinking, learning and art practices through a nationally significant, multi-disciplinary education and research in contemporary creative arts.

The Centre for Critical Creative Practice (C3P)

C3P is an interdisciplinary home for research addressing key issues of our time, using creative practice and critical frameworks to raise questions about the influence of digital and screen media on culture, ways the humanities can respond to global, political and environmental change, and the impacts art and writing can have in the 21st century.
