How to change a course or campus

To make a change to what a student is studying, or a change to where a student is studying, there are many options available. 

Note: Sponsored students (by a third party) or student(s) receiving Centrelink benefits must seek approval from the third party (or Centrelink) before initiating a course transfer as some courses do not meet Sponsorship criteria.

Students will need to complete one (1) session of study under their current degree.  Following this they may apply for a course transfer (subject to approval).  It is important to contact the relevant Faculty regarding the subjects should be enrolled into to ensure recognition under the students preferred degree (if the transfer is approved). Refer to Faculty contacts listed below.

Undergraduate

Students will need to request approval to transfer degrees by completing an Undergraduate Course Transfer form (which is subject to approval).

Postgraduate

Students will need to seek a new offer from the Student Services Future Students team.  Students can apply for credit for any subject they have already completed (which may count towards the new degree (subject to approval).

Changing campuses

If a student has completed at least one session of study (under their current degree) they are eligible to apply to change their Campus of study.  To do so, a course transfer form will need to be completed (which are subject to approval).  They are:

Where a student has not completed a session of study, eligibility to transfer to an alternative Campus will not be considered.  In these instances, students will need to contact the Student Services Future Students team to discuss.

Note: not all degrees are available at all Campuses.  To clarify, students should check availability via the Course Handbook.
