Interest Rates

Dr Paul Mazzola is available for interviews about interest rates. Dr Mazzola is a Lecturer in banking and finance in the School of Business. He has more than 25 years’ banking and finance experience in the Australian, European and Asian Pacific markets.  


Power Bills

Associate Professor Rabindra Nepal can provide commentary on whether consumers can expect their power bills to fall, with energy regulators planning to reveal draft changes to benchmark power prices from July. Professor Nepal is an internationally recognised scholar specialising in energy, environment and resources. He is an economist in the School of Business.


Neurodiversity Celebration Week

Dr Rebecca Vine Foggo and Carina Beattie can talk about Neurodiversity Celebration Week (18 to 24 March). Dr Vine is neurotypical and currently lectures in Special and Inclusive Education for the Autism postgraduate programs in the School of Education. Ms Beattie is neurodivergent and works with Dr Vine as a tutor at UOW. Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences.


Nicotine pouches

Dr Jody Moller and Dr Celine Kelso can discuss the growing use of nicotine pouches by young people. Dr Moller says the pouches are easy for young people to buy online and pose serious health risks to children. Dr Moller and Dr Kelso are both chemical toxicologists in the School of Chemistry and Molecular Bioscience.
