Services for alumni & guests
Alumni & guest services at UOW libraries
Alumni
Alumni can join UOW campus libraries at no charge.
On top of your existing UOW alumni benefits, you can:
- borrow up to 30 items for 28 days or borrow five items at regional campus libraries
- place up to 10 holds at a time and renew your items more than once
- access a limited range of online resources
- visit Library spaces during regular opening hours.
Your Library membership application will be processed and confirmed within 3-7 business days.
Guests
You may qualify for guest membership if you live, work, or study (at HSC level) in the Illawarra, Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla or Bega Valley districts, if you study at the TAFE NSW Moss Vale campus, or by agreement.
Guest members can borrow from their local collection. Please see your local UOW Library for details, including available opening hours.
As a member of and/or visitor to UOW Library, you agree to follow the Campus Access and Order Rules and IT Acceptable Use Policy.
Alumni members can log in to selected databases for personal research and educational use. This selection is not as extensive as the resources available to students but offers resources beyond what is freely accessible online.
You will be prompted to log in with your username and password when accessing alumni resources. After you log in, you will see an A-Z list of Alumni databases to access without needing to log in to each one separately.
In-library use databases for alumni and guests
Access these databases from UOW Wollongong and *selected campus libraries.
*Speak to your local UOW Campus Library for more information about access.
