The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Careers Expo is your opportunity to meet potential employers who will be on campus to tell you all about their recruitment programs, and scout for future talent. Employers will be on campus showcasing their vacation and graduate programs, along with other opportunities for students.
This is a free event and open to all students in the Faculties of Engineering and Information Sciences and Science, Medicine and Health. It is most relevant for penultimate and final year students seeking vacation work and/or planning to apply for graduate programs in 2019. First and second year students are also encouraged to attend as employers may also provide information on work experience, internships, scholarships, cadetships, mentoring programs, graduate work and entry level roles, to name a few. Employer representatives may also provide you with useful suggestions on improving your employability skills and tips on enhancing your chances of getting a job.
After the conclusion of the Expo at 1:30pm, there will also be a Women in STEM panel in the Thought bubble - don't miss out!
We have some awesome prizes up for grabs, so make sure to fill out our feedback form on the day to go into the draw to win a double pass to a UniBar gig of your choice! There will also be a $50 UniShop voucher for the lucky door prize.
