Funding student scholarships

Every book you purchase helps fund scholarships and prizes for current UOW students. It's a beautiful cycle – your love of reading directly supports the next generation of learners. The money raised from our carefully curated selection of pre-loved books goes straight back into supporting student success.

The UOW Alumni Bookshop Scholarship has funded equity scholarships for more than two decades and benefited more than 20 UOW students since its launch.

Got books? We'd love them! We accept donations of:

• Fiction and non-fiction
• Textbooks and academic materials
• Rare and collectible books
• Children’s books
• Really, any books at all!

Your donated books find new homes while supporting students – it's a win-win for everyone.

Simply drop your books off at either of our bookshop locations.

Volunteer

Our bookshops are run entirely on the generosity of volunteers who donate their time to support UOW students and the broader community. However, you don't need to be a UOW alumni to get involved – anyone can volunteer!

Whether you'd like to help in the bookshop, assist on market days, or sort through book donations, we'd love to have you join our friendly team.
