Learning Development offers free resources, seminars and consultations to enrolled students seeking to improve their academic performance. These are all now available online using Zoom, Webex or Moodle.

Individual Consultations

Learning Development offers individual support for assignment and study needs, including:

  • Understanding your assessment task

  • Academic writing

  • Interpreting feedback.

Learning Development offers academic skills workshops online which include:

All workshops are completely free.

Maths and Stats help

Our specialist Maths and Statistics Lecturer, Dr David Hartley, offers individual and group maths consultations to students in all faculties, including help to understand concepts and work through exercises.

Faculty Programs

Learning Development also runs programs on academic skills within Faculties. Most programs are offered within first year subjects and are tailored to meet the needs of students within particular disciplines. Staff can request that Learning Development provide such programs within their faculties or subjects.

Learning Co-Op website

The Learning Co-Op is a hub of information including a range of resources about getting organised, study skills and the types of academic writing and referencing required at University. You can also access academic support when Leonie isn’t available. Access the Learning Co-Op.
