Course Quality Committee
The Course Quality Committee (CQC) is a standing committee of Academic Senate with responsibility for making recommendations to the Senate on accrediting and reaccrediting UOW courses, including those taught under third-party arrangements.
This committee was established 1 June 2026 and replaced the Quality Assurance Review Group
The Course Quality Committee meets five to six times a year.

- 27 August (deadline 6 August)
- 22 October (deadline 1 October)
- 10 December (deadline 19 November)
Meeting observation
Course Quality Committee meetings are open for staff and students to observe.
If you would like to observe a meeting, contact the Executive Officer in advance of the meeting at academic-governance@uow.edu.au.
Agenda inclusions
A call for agenda items is emailed to members and standing attendees five weeks before each meeting. Reports and papers are due at least three weeks before the meeting.
Committee support
Executive support is provided by the Academic Governance and Standards Division. Meeting agendas are prepared by the Executive Officer in liaison with the Chair and Deputy Chair and issued 7 days prior to each meeting. Email AGS at academic-governance@uow.edu.au for further information.
