Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarships, students must:
- be an international student
- have outstanding results in one of the following pathways*:
- Australian Year 12 (ATAR) or an approved equivalent international senior secondary school qualification.
- Foundation Studies program approved for direct entry into a UOW Bachelor degree, from a recognised institution.
- Diploma or academic pathway program credit transfer from an institution with a formal agreement UOW.
- Academic programs (including Bachelor degrees) approved for admission into UOW Bachelor degrees, from a recognised institution.
- not be receiving any other scholarship, sponsorship, bursary, or discount (excluding stipend scholarships) for the same course.
- enrol in a UOW undergraduate course at an Australian campus in 2026. The following degrees are not eligible: Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), Bachelor of Education (Primary, Secondary, Early Years), Bachelor of Exercise Science, Bachelor of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, Bachelor of Nutrition Science, Bachelor of Psychological Science, Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), Bachelor of Social Work.
- maintain a minimum cumulative Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 50
- students who transfer courses will no longer be eligible for the scholarship
* Includes students under 18 who qualify for direct entry into a UOW Bachelor degree but are required to enrol in a UOW College Diploma due to an approved homestay arrangement through UOW College Australia.
