Higher Degree Research (Master and PhD) students are encouraged to make contact with a potential supervisor prior to applying. This is to ensure that there is sufficient time in the application process to confirm that a project and an appropriate supervisor will be available.
You should start your search for a supervisor by going to the relevant faculty research pages:
- Engineering and Information Sciences
- Law Humanities and the Arts
- Science Medicine and Health
- Social Sciences
You should also see what type of research degree you may be eligible for, and, since you will have to prepare a research proposal, we provide an example of how to write a research proposal for your reference.
