Overview

The Diploma of Education Studies Fast Track provides guaranteed entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Primary Education at the University of Wollongong (UOW).

You will build the skills needed to succeed in your UOW bachelor and explore areas such as child development, literacy, numeracy, science and education studies. You will graduate with a Higher Education Diploma that can support entry into the workforce while you complete your bachelor’s degree.

This diploma is a pathway qualification and does not lead to an independent teaching qualification. Students who choose to exit after the Diploma of Education Studies may pursue employment as a School Learning Support Officer or in another education-related role that is not a qualified teacher.

This course consists of two sessions, each lasting 14 weeks, and is offered by our pathway provider, UOW College Australia.

UOW College offers three intakes each year, giving you the flexibility to start your studies at different times throughout the year.

*The guarantee is subject to meeting UOW entry requirements as described in the course outline.

This course is accredited by the University of Wollongong (TEQSA Provider ID: PRV12062; CRICOS: 00102E) and delivered by UOW College Australia (TEQSA Provider ID: 12027; CRICOS: 02723D). UOW College Australia is a registered business name of UOWC Ltd (ABN: 14 105 312 329).
