International Student Mobility programs offers you the opportunity to participate in studying overseas and earning credit towards your degree.


How will I benefit?

By participating in study abroad/exchange, you will gain an international edge to your UOW degree, get to travel the world and study at some of the most prestigious universities, gain independence, confidence and international connections.


How do I apply?

To find out more on how to apply, visit the Office of Global Student Mobility in Student Central. Then, submit your application via the Student Exchange website.


Are there any special requirements for this role?

Yes, to participate in exchange or study abroad, you must:

  • Have a credit average with no fails on your record;
  • Have completed at least 48 credit points;
  • Submit all required application materials; and
  • Attend the interview and compulsory pre-departure sessions

Minimum requirements for UOWx recognition

You will need to complete a reflective report about your international experience upon your return.

*Students who elect to receive an International Studies minor in recognition of their study abroad or exchange program WILL NOT be eligible for UOWx recognition. Students can elect to have this opportunity recognised on either their academic transcript as an International Studies Minor OR on their UOWx record.
