Become an elected student representative – nominations now open
Are you passionate about student life and ready to represent the student community? Or do you know someone who would be a great voice for students?
As a student representative, you’ll play an important role in shaping the student experience at UOW and have the opportunity to:
- Advocate for issues that matter to you and other students
- Make a meaningful impact on the University
- Build skills and experience you can take into your future career
The following election periods have commenced, and nominations are now open for student representative members on the following Academic Senate subcommittees:
- Teaching and Learning Committee
- Research and Graduate Research Committee
- Course Quality Committee
- Collaborative Delivery Committee
These are key representative roles which have a direct influence on UOW academic experience and work alongside academic and professional staff of the University.
Nominations close at 12 pm, Friday 15 May, 2026.
