The National Student Safety Survey gives eligible students an opportunity to share their experiences and perspectives on sexual violence and harm. It provides important information to help inform prevention efforts, strengthen support services and drive continued action across Australian universities. 

Every student’s perspective matters, and you do not need to have experienced sexual violence or harm to take part.

Participation is voluntary and confidential, and support is available before, during and after participation. 

If you receive an invitation, please consider taking part. Your experiences and perspectives can help inform positive change and contribute to safer campuses for current and future students.

We recognise that this issue can be difficult and deeply personal. UOW offers a range of support and reporting options to students who have experienced sexual assault or sexual harassment.
