Parking changes coming next year for new northern entrance in UOW

The M1 Princes Motorway interchange currently under construction at the base of Mount Ousley will kick up a gear in early 2026, with the new northern entrance into Wollongong Campus to begin taking shape from February.

This new road into Wollongong campus is huge news – when it’s completed in 2028 it will improve traffic flow into campus, especially during peak times at the start of session. See for yourself the scale of the project in this new animation.

Coming back to UOW Wollongong campus at the start of Autumn session will be a little more hectic, with a large section of P5 carpark fenced off for construction.

We’re working on ways to lessen the impact and continue making improvements to other carparks and pathways.
