Career Connect
Career Connect is an interactive 3 — 4 week online program designed to offer students personalised support and guidance in developing their careers. The program prioritises career pathways by connecting students with industry professionals.
Overall commitment for the program would be approximately 10 hours.
What does Career Connect offer?
- Personalised online modules focused on building confidence in career decisions, mastering the job application process (including cover letters, CVs, and selection criteria), expanding your professional network, and gaining industry-specific knowledge related to your degree(s).
- Two self-paced career coaching sessions led by our professional careers consultants, providing targeted support and advice to enhance your career prospects.
- An exclusive opportunity for a one-on-one informational interview with a UOW alumnus actively working in your relevant field or industry. This unique experience allows you to gather valuable tips and insider knowledge on how to prepare for and secure your first career position.
