UOW’s new research internship program enables businesses to work directly with highly skilled PhD researchers who bring specialist expertise, advanced problem‑solving capability and fresh, evidence‑based perspectives to industry‑defined projects.

Designed in response to industry demand for job‑ready researchers and stronger university collaboration, the program gives partners a practical pathway to build research capability, explore emerging opportunities and develop future talent. Her interests in learning all the practical lab methods and having the privilege of working with a unique cell line (that she developed experience and familiarity with during her Honours year) sparked her in pursing a PhD in metastatic cancer biology.
