Diagnosis therapy card

Project Air Strategy has developed a series of 7 Therapy Cards for clinicians to use in treatment with clients with a personality disorder. These postcards are colourful – 4 provide a useful take away message and 3 provide space to write new strategies. Dimensions are A5 (210 x 148 mm, 8.3 x 5.8 in).

This guide was therefore designed with the motto: “For any teacher, anywhere”. It is hoped that any person working in the education system engaging in regular communication with young people experiencing mental health difficulties will find this guide useful when they require extra support and information. This includes teachers, support teachers, year advisors, deputy principals, principals, school counsellors and psychologists.

Training DVDs

Staying Connected: A family, partner and carer resource for improving relationships with people with a personality disorder.

The film was developed as a training tool illustrating these strategies for communicating with others when they are in distress. The goal of this resource is to assist in improving key relationships, and may assist carers, partners, families, colleagues, people with a personality disorder, and health practitioners and services (approx. 30 minutes, DVD PAL, Region 0). Parenting with Personality Disorder: A film for health professionals, parents, caregivers and families.

This short film follows the life of Sam and her three children. It shows the choices Sam has to make as a parent while struggling with personality disorder. It was developed as a training tool illustrating parenting strategies for caregivers with a personality disorder. (approx 15 minutes, DVD PAL, Region 0).
