UOW staff and students help raise $50,000 at Noah’s Challenge 2025

UOW Shoalhaven staff and medical students joined the Shoalhaven community on Sunday 26 October for Noah’s Challenge 2025, helping to raise an impressive $50,000 in support of local children with disabilities and developmental needs.

Noah's is situated on the UOW Shoalhaven campus, and this recent event saw 1,500 people attending across the Challenge Day.

The annual event, organised by Noah’s Inclusion Services, brings together families, local organisations and supporters for a day of community connection, fun and fitness - all aimed at building a more inclusive community for local children and their families and to raise funds that support vital early intervention and inclusion programs for children across the region.

UOW Shoalhaven campus manager, Chris Hadley, said the strong community turnout and university involvement reflected the Shoalhaven’s generous spirit.

“The involvement of UOW staff and students shows how deeply connected the university is to the Shoalhaven community. Their energy and support helped make this one of our most successful events yet,” he said.

The strong partnership between UOW and Noah’s Inclusion Services reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to regional engagement and to improving health and wellbeing outcomes across the South Coast.
