Apply now for 2020 Australia Maritime Safety Excellence Scholarships
Applications are now open for the 2020 Australian Maritime Safety Authority (ASMA) Excellence in Maritime Policy Postgraduate and the Excellence in Maritime Postgraduate Studies Scholarships.
These scholarships are open to students enrolling in a Master of Maritime Policy and a Graduate Certificate in Maritime Studies in 2020.
The Australian Maritime Safety Authority is Australia's national agency responsible for maritime safety, protection of the marine environment, and maritime aviation search and rescue. We are motivated by our vision of Safe and clean seas, saving lives.
Australian Maritime Policy Postgraduate Scholarship
The AMSA Excellence in Maritime Policy Postgraduate Scholarship will be awarded to a student undertaking the Master of Maritime Policy to analyse the legal, political and operational factors that contribute to the development of the law of the sea and maritime policy, with the aim of devising solutions to gaps in legal and policy frameworks.

Australian Maritime Studies Postgraduate Scholarship
The AMSA Excellence in Maritime Studies Postgraduate Scholarship will be awarded to a student undertaking the Graduate Certificate in Maritime Studies, a program of study that will encourage the generation of solutions to problems relating to maritime law and policy. A research project or minor thesis aligned with the work of AMSA will be highly regarded.
