UOW’s annual Graduate Careers Expo brings top employers under one roof
Australia’s leading organisations to showcase career opportunities to students
The University of Wollongong’s (UOW) top graduates will have the opportunity to connect and network with recruiters and industry experts from around Australia during tomorrow’s (Tuesday 21 March) Graduate Careers Expo.
Top companies and organisations will bring their search for high-calibre employees to the annual event, hosted by UOW Careers Central, which will give around 1500 students and recent graduates the chance to discover the career opportunities available.
This year, more than 70 exhibitors, the highest number to date, will attend the Graduate Careers Expo, with the majority of these organisations actively recruiting final-year students for their 2024 graduate programs.
Amazon, the Department of Defence, BlueScope, EY, KPMG, and Sydney Water are among the high-profile organisations attending the event.
Many organisations offer graduate and holiday employment, internship opportunities, scholarships, and other programs that provide students with the chance to gain valuable work experience and an insight into the way the company works.
The Careers Expo will highlight the range of rewarding career opportunities that are available in both the public and private sectors of the labour market across a variety of industries.
Careers Central will be running a resume review booth on the day to help students polish their resumes and LinkedIn profiles. Students and are encouraged to dress professionally if they want to take advantage of the free LinkedIn photo booth.

Employers will continue their search for talent on campus from March through to May, with some opting for rolling recruitment throughout the year.
